Born in Oregon, USA and raised in a nominally Catholic family, Dennis was diagnosed with incurable cancer while finishing his junior year in high school at the age of 16. Dennis’ testimony speaks of God’s use of modern medicine combined with the power of prayer to both heal and commence his walk with the Lord. Doctors expected that despite radiation and chemotherapy treatment to extend his life, cancer would kill him. By the grace of God, Dennis’ tumours had not only all disappeared, but have not returned in more than 40 years since his last treatment. One twist in his story is that doctors told him that it was almost certain the chemotherapy would cause his hair to fall out, encouraging him to buy a wig, which he did with his foster parent’s money! The Lord had other plans, and he kept his hair! Dennis’ testimony proves the power of God to cure an aggressive form of cancer.

Dennis felt a call to vocational Christian ministry, studying at Bible College where he met his wife, Janice. Dennis and Janice moved to Melbourne, Australia in 1995, and have assisted churches in the areas of young adults, college, and youth, as well as overseeing the cell group ministry and Bible School of a local assembly. In recent years, Dennis and Janice planted Church on The Hill with a passion for seeing many sons and daughters birthed into the kingdom, bringing Christian maturity and fruitful service to the Lord.

Besides pastoring his church, Dennis is passionate about helping young people learn to enjoy and be fervent about the gift of life and, more importantly, the gift giver, Jesus. He also enjoys studying systematic and comparative theology, going for walks in the hills around his local area and exercising habitually using his only HIIT video while keeping abreast of international politics and geopolitical trends.
